Omega Preliminary Assessment
Sell Your Omega in Istanbul
To sell, trade or consign an Omega, share its model, reference, condition, warranty card and photographs through the watch assessment form. The ART Jewellery & Watches team reviews Speedmaster, Seamaster and other Omega references and, where appropriate, arranges an appointment at Zorlu Center, Istanbul.
Where to Find Your Omega Reference
On current Omega watches, the reference is the long number on the warranty card; 310.30.42.50.01.001, for example, is a Speedmaster Moonwatch reference. The number identifies the case material, size and dial. If you do not have the card, the model name, case size and dial colour in the form are enough to start.
Card, Box and Service History
The warranty card, box, proof of purchase and Omega service records make the assessment easier. For older watches without papers, an Omega Extract from the Archives can provide the production date and calibre. Note the last service date and any replaced parts in the form.
Sale, Trade and Consignment
Across collections such as the Speedmaster, Seamaster, Planet Ocean, Aqua Terra and Constellation, the suitable route depends on the reference, condition, set and market demand. Submitting the form does not create an offer or a commitment to purchase. Final terms are agreed only after physical inspection.
Omega Selling FAQ
My Speedmaster has a Hesalite crystal. Does that matter?
Hesalite and sapphire versions are different references. Light scratches on Hesalite can usually be polished out, but the condition of the crystal and dial should still be clear in the photographs.
Should my Seamaster be pressure tested before selling?
It is not required. Gaskets, crown and case are checked during the physical inspection; if you know the last service and test date, mention it in the form.
Can I sell my Omega without its warranty card?
Yes. A preliminary assessment can be made without the card; proof of purchase, service records or an archive extract support identification.
Can I trade my Omega towards another watch?
You can choose trade-in on the form. Suitability depends on the Omega offered and the current availability of the piece you want.
