On a pre-owned accessory, where and how heavily it has been used, and whether the original box and documents are present, feed directly into the price. Size is worth checking before anything else: a strap must match the lug width of the case, a box must suit the diameter of the watch, and a jewellery case must suit the number and dimensions of the pieces it holds. An accessory that fits poorly is not only inconvenient in daily use but also marks the piece it is meant to protect.

Every accessory in our collection goes through the same inspection process we apply to watches and jewellery; nothing whose authenticity we are unsure of enters the showcase. Leather items should be kept at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. A soft dry cloth is enough for metal surfaces; abrasive cleaners and alcohol-based products can damage the finish. Keeping the original box and documents protects the item and counts in your favour if you later decide to sell or trade it. Pieces you will not use for a while are best kept in separate compartments or in their own pouch, so they do not get scratched.
